We keep the children busy with lots of planned arts and crafts, cooking, games, local walks, scavenger hunts; we also arrange for local organisations to come in and run workships with the children for example Science, Circus and Animals, we also plan days out for example Avon Valley, Ice Skating, Wookey Hole, Seaside, Longleat, Cinema, Swimming, Westonbirt, Victoria Park to name a few, there's also plenty of time for free play. Please see examples of past holiday club programmes or look at the photos in our gallery.

We plan to go outside as much as possible throughout the holiday i.e. holistic play, nature walks, playing at the Rec/park, den building, scavenger hunts, we even go out when it's raining, snowing and of course when the sun is out, the only time we won't take the children out is when it's not safe for the children i.e. storms, heavy rain, ice etc. We find its the children who like going out in the rain.
Snacks & Meal Times
We provide the children with a healthy mid-morning snack of either toast, muffin or crumpet with a choice of fruit, to keep them going until lunch. Children need to bring with them a packed lunch, we quite often enjoy lunch outside.
We do not have a tea time during the holidays as lunch isn't always at 12pm, but we do provide a much needed snack at about 4pm.
Dropping off times and collecting
On non-trip days, we ask for children to be in before 10am; children arriving after this time disturbs the session and stops us from going out, you will be contacted if your child hasn't arrived by this time; if we are going out then you may be asked to meet us somewhere. Due to children being collected at different times during the afternoon, the mornings are the best time for us to go out. On trip days we ask for children to arrive before 9am as we like to spend as much time as possible at the venue.
Children MUST wear clothes they can get messy in (no new or precious clothes)
A packed lunch (with drink in a bottle)
Wellies (whatever the weather)
Change of clothes (whatever the weather)
Rain coat
Sun cream and sun hat (depending on the weather)
